Well, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) claims there are about 130,290 jobs you can pick from this month alone.

“This is good
news especially for parents who have children to support and to the new
graduates who now have their turn in supporting their siblings’
education,” Baldoz said.

The cabinet member noted call center
industry remains to be the second biggest employer, with a need for

Baldoz
advised jobseekers to be more patient in their job hunt, explaining
that recruiters are having a hard time getting applicants with
competencies that match their job description.

She also encouraged job seekers to improve their qualification by taking technical-vocational course related to their craft.

The labor chief advised students to consider the current market demands for jobs in choosing a college course.

Aside
from obtaining the required skills and qualifications of a particular
job, Baldoz reminded the job applicants to create their accounts at the
Phil-Job.net website for an easier online job application, which will
definitely help them save time, money, and effort.
